Meet Our Artists
Art By GG
My name is Gail Guildea and I am an artist based in Co.Meath. I have a fascination with architecture, fine lines and detail that has filtered into my artwork. I draw mainly local landmarks, European cathedrals, famous buildings around the world etc. I describe my style of artwork as free hand drawings using fine liner pen on paper.
I have been fortunate to be surrounded in East Cork by the incredible landscape which has fuelled my love for drawing and painting.
My signature style revolves around capturing the beauty of nature, family and all things positive. From the hand drawn images of bees, flowers and fauna my artwork has evolved into a series of lifestyle products which include prints, cards, scarves and stationery.
Crane and Quiller
We are a small independent design and craft business in the West of Ireland. We produce original artwork using coloured paper strips by individually rolling and assembling them into unique designs. We sell both original artwork and prints, all of which are produced in our small studio. Quilling is an art form that dates back over 500 years, and is believed to be as old as paper itself and we are proud to be one of the artists globally that is still practicing this classic papercraft technique.
Colette Gough is a self taught Irish artist, born and raised in the heart of the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath Ireland.
Her family home overlooks the ancient monuments of Newgrange and Knowth. This wealth of heritage and culture motivated Colette on her creative journey.
She uses nib and ink to create intricate, detailed freehand drawings. These unique pieces which are rich in colour are inspired by the iconic images from the Book of Kells.
My name is Frances McDonnell, and I’ve been painting since 2018. I live near Longwood, Co. Meath. I paint in oils, everything from animals to florals, land and seascapes to portraits. I also get fine art prints done of most of my paintings. I love to capture the light and brightness in my art.
Working mainly with an oil palette knife, I love the impasto technique that creates mood and atmosphere. I grew up on the family farm in North County Dublin. I am fascinated with nature as depicted throughout many paintings of flowers, farm animals and woodland scenes. I enjoy working on seascapes,in which my little boats are a constant feature and fun paintings of balloons.
A Little Irish Birdie
My name is Bernie O’ Brien and I work from my home in Skryne Co. Meath. Growing up by the River Erne and surrounded by the beautiful countryside in Co. Cavan I developed a love of nature and an interest in art. With a background in Nursing and Midwifery, I am very aware of the importance of treasuring every moment in life. As my own family have grown up so quickly, I realise how ‘time flies’. It is important to celebrate all of life’s occasions to create memories with our family and friends. I am delighted to sit at my table with my box of stones and twigs and work away making my pictures.
Lorraine’s hidden talent for art really came to the fore during the Covid lockdown of 2020.
When the photography work came to a halt, she swapped the camera for the brush and canvas and created the most amazing colourful pieces of wall art.
Inspired by her love of gardening and driven by her creativity, her paintings are bursting with vibrance, texture and colour.
With so much depth and detail in each unique piece, you’ll spend forever exploring the intricacies and each time you’ll find something new.

Sharlene fell in love with porcelain and ceramic relief tile art at the University of Ulster, Belfast. This affinity, together with a lifelong love of beach combing for treasures, results in the designs that inspire her collection’s today. The pieces are intentionally brightly coloured, reflecting a contentment and meaningful enjoyment of a scene or memory in her studio in Coolaney, Co. Sligo.
